This is a 30 minute study of a bridge created using chalk pastels. There is a variety of high saturated colours which makes the atmosphere appear more vibrant. The different hues of greens clearly accentuate the greenery surrounding the bridge. The reflection of the tree trunks in the water suggest where the source of light is coming from. The focal point of the study is the bridge. This allows the viewer's eyes to see from dark to light. There could have been a better vantage point for example from the side to show and emphasize the depth and create a more 3-dimensional view. The tree branches could have had more work done on them as they don't seem realistic enough.
